The article analyzes the motives present in Kazakh mystical stories by comparing stories on various topics. The main objects of analysis of Kazakh mystical stories were: K.Abulkaira «Snake Revenge», written in the genre of mysticism, M.Iskakbayeva «Legend of shame», D.Doszhanova «Fulfill my wish», T.Akhmetzhan «Nobel Prize the prize», E.Amanshayeva «The Legend of the demon», A.Mekebayeva «Demonic creature in the image of an old woman». The analyzed stories were studied from a mystical point of view and the mystical, including phenomenal, motives of the characters represented in the stories were considered in a differentiated way. In the stories taken for the analysis of phenomenal motives, there were such motives of the phenomenon as: "snake", "demon", "angel", "wolf", stories were analyzed, written topics and problems related to life were considered.
