THE SEMANTIC AND ARTISTIC FUNCTION OF ARCHAIC WORDS IN MASHKHUR ZHUSUPʼS POEM “GULSHAT-SHERIZAT”

The article discusses the continuation of the semantic and artistic activity of ancient words in the epic “Gulshat-Sherizat” by Mashkhur Zhusup Kopeev in literature. The conclusions of ancient words used in the saga in the works of scientists are guided and the specifics of the use of these words in other works are compared, the methods of using ancient words by authors, the features of the author's use in a work of art are analyzed. The image of that time in which Mashkhur Zhusup Kopeev lived cannot be described without ancient words. It is shown that the author skillfully used ancient words as a means of depicting life in those times.
In the recognition and analysis of ancient words in the poet's saga, the comparative historical method, the method aimed at studying the author, the method of studying an individual work in its content and form, the method of literary hermeneutics were used.
As a result, it was found that the content of the saga contains quite a bit of ancient words that are at the core of the article, and the author used them as a means of reflecting the historical reality of that time.
The use of ancient words in other works, the use of the poet in the works of his contemporaries, in the literature of the Soviet period, in modern literature, whether Mashkhur Zhusup wrote or gave other meanings, these points and the scientific conclusions of scientists related to ancient words were shown through methods of grouping, analysis, description.
