The article is devoted to the definition of the communicativestrategyandtacticsusedin the interviewdiscourse. The communicativestrategyandtacticsused by the journalisttoreveal the image of the interviewerare the basisforsuccessfuldialogicalparticipation. The research used an analytical method to differentiate the collected interviews, as well as comprehensive research methods for cognitive and discursive analysis. In the course of the study, speech strategies were classified as solidarity and conflict. It is assumedthatsolidaritystrategies are establishedusingtactics of topic change, topicdevelopment,support,suggestions,andconflictspeech is determined by tacticsofevasion,counter-question.
The scientific judgments and conclusions obtained as a result of the research complement the theory of discourse and the field of communicative linguistics with new scientific assumptions. This research is aimed at identifying the communication strategies and tactics used in the interview discourse and analyzing the specifics of their use.
