Abstract

The article examines a new paradigm of teaching ancient literature based on digital humanities. In the current context of digitalization, updating the content of humanitarian education and combining traditional methods of teachingliterary heritage with innovative technologies has become one of the most pressing scientific and pedagogical issues. In this regard, the study analyzes the scientific and methodological potential ofdigital humanities in close connection with the process of teaching ancient literature.

In the course of the research, the didactic potential of corpus analysis platforms (Voyant Tools, AntConc), digital archives, open databases, geographic information systems (GIS), network analysis, as well as virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) technologies were examined. These tools enable students to conduct a comprehensive analysis of literary texts within historical, linguistic, cultural, and philosophical contexts, thereby developing their research and interpretative skills.

The article proposes an author's digital didactic model for teaching ancient literature, adapted to the Kazakhstani higher education system. The presented model integrates traditional methods of literary analysis with digital humanities tools and aims to develop students' research capacity, critical thinking, digital literacy, and interdisciplinary competence. The research results provide a scientific and methodological foundation that can be effectively utilized in the educational practices of higher education institutions in the fields of philology, pedagogy, and Turkology.
