Abstract

In the article, based on thesaurus analysis, the concept of "knowledge-science" in "The book of words" was considered. Researchers R.Syzdyk, B.Kamyzanova, A.Salkinbai, A.Espenbetov, B.Yerdembekov, A.Smagulova, Zh.Madalieva, A.Islam, S.Zhirenov, A.Amirbekova, Zh.Dadebaev, K.Sarekenova, A.Eszhanova, G.Yesim contributed to the field of modern Abai studies, opinions were taken and compared with each other. The concept of "knowledge-science" in the words of Abai's edification reflects the true picture of the era in which the poet lived, defines the spirituality of Kazakh society in the national-cultural, political, historical aspect. Knowledge and science are of great importance in Kazakh spirituality. At the same time, it is of great importance to consider Abai's statements in the cognitive aspect, including the concept of "knowledge-science".

The article highlights the main intentions in Abai's work, his words of edification. The method of definitional analysis is used in the analysis of the concept of "knowledge-science". A number of associative fields of the concept "education-science" in the words of edification are the concepts of knowledge, science, effort, reason, character, heart. During the thesaurus analysis, the meaning of the concept of "knowledge-science" in Kazakh society was determined, the near, far peripheral zone, and core were defined as the concept. Mind as the core of the concept of "knowledge-science"; character, effort, heart, conscience, hearing, hardness as the nearest periphery; The far periphery is defined by the concepts of ignorance, heroes.
