Abstract

The article talks about the sacred objects in the legends, born on the Syr. The spiritual values ​​of legends and geography of holy places are mainly reflected as knowledge.

Continuing the traditions passed down from the ancestors and respecting sacred and holy places, the expression of national identity in legends is revealed.

An exemplary model of holy places in the Syr region has been identified. The cognitive function of holy places in legends is analyzed.

A legend is given about such religious figures as Khorasan Ata, Okshi Ata, Maral Ishan, known in Central Asia. Holy places and religious and educational thought were taken into account in the legends born on the Syr. The historiographic base of legends is revealed, their political and spiritual significance is assessed. Comparing the opinions of scholars-researchers about the holy places, a new conclusion was made.

On the basis of fundamental research in Kazakh science, it was analyzed from the point of view of today.

It was intended to reveal the worldview of historical figures, giving references to sacred objects in legends.

It is proved that the sacred objects in the legends born on the Syr have national significance, the semantic features of the legendary thoughts are revealed.
