Abstract

One of the topical issues is the comparison of words and concepts of the Turkic languages related to life, everyday life, the study of the peculiarities of their meaning and usage. This is due to the fact that the lexical fund of any language reflects the specific features of the ethnic culture of each nation. The words and concepts in each language and the context of their use reflect the worldview, way of life and cultural traditions of the people. Kazakh and Uzbek are related languages with deep historical roots, belonging to the same branch of the Turkic languages. As a result of centuries-old linguistic ties, a common lexical fund has been formed in both languages. This is especially evident in the field of household vocabulary. The lexical layer provides a lot of information about everyday life, economy, culture, customs, and traditions of the people.

Everyday vocabulary and the concepts they represent in the languages of the two fraternal people may have different meanings depending on the cultural context. Since household vocabulary is a means of preserving cultural values, household vocabulary in the Kazakh and Uzbek languages plays an important role in transmitting the traditions, customs and worldview of their people. Their comparison will undoubtedly lead to the identification of commonality and identity in the traditions and worldviews of the Kazakh and Uzbek people, vision and perception of the world, centuries-old life activities, and will also have a definite impact on the mutually beneficial strengthening and integration of intercultural and interlanguage interaction.
